Serve
At First Baptist Church of Ypsilanti we connect with our neighbors through service to the local community.
.
Missions
First Baptist Church supports local, national, and international mission programs year-round. Our Mission team teaches the congregation about missions, gives direction for financial support of mission work and encourages hands-on mission involvement including Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith Hospitality Network of County, refugee resettlement, new church development, and other mission projects.  First Baptist has reached out numerous times and helped build houses in the hurricane ravaged south.  We have been to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Spain.

Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley
A source of hope and inspiration for Washtenaw  County, the State of Michigan, and the entire nation.
We are a leader in enabling more citizens to have greater opportunities to improve their lives through home ownership.  Our impact is seen in revitalized neighborhoods, families achieving financial stability,
and children who achieve more in school and in life.  Families living in Habitat homes are positive contributors to our community.

Hope Clinic
Hope Clinic, an interdenominational Christian organization, provides compassionate and practical help to those in need, ministering to the whole person with dignity and respect.  They provide a broad range of services.

Friends In Deed
Founded in 1983 to provide a bridge between congregations in Washtenaw County and low-income families with unmet emergency needs. These days over 75 volunteers from forty-seven area congregations help Friends In Deed answer requests for help.

CROP Hunger Walks
Community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.
